Answer: SNUG AS A BUG
( . . . in a rug? That was one of the things my parents would say to us when they tucked us in bed, at night! Snug as a bug in a rug! Kids love things that rhyme. And, some things have a way of staying with you your entire life. Funny, huh?
All of today’s clue words are familiar old friends. I guess David’s father is taking a little break. Two of the jumbles appear to be new. But, we’ve definitely seen “lasia” and “sleuuf” in the past. “lasia” tripped me up a little . . . again! I kinda had to back into it. I’m a little out of it this morning. Woke up around 4:40, couldn’t really get back to sleep until a little after 6:00. Blew past my 7:30 alarm, and didn’t come to until 8:50. Just one of those days, I guess.
Fun cartoon. The ol’ bug in the smoke alarm bit! I wonder who they’re planning on spying on. I like the black outfits and the comms. These could also be corporate spies, I suppose. Just another example of how the expectation of privacy is quickly becoming an obsolete concept. Be well and do good, friends. Even if no one is watching/listening.) — YUR
