Jumble Spoiler – 12/08/18

Clue/Question:  The Swiss cheese at the church picnic had an attitude that was – – –

Answer:  HOLIER THAN THOU

(I’m not a big fan of stinky cheeses, but I do love a good stinky pun!  I also much prefer the nuttier, hard cheeses to the gooier ones.  Both sharp and mild.

We seem to have a new clue word today, in “hurrah”.  But, I suspect that we’ve had it before, either since 10/09/18, or maybe it somehow missed the ralis95 clue word database . . . somehow?  Does it ring any bells with any of you Jumble-holics?  All of the jumbles came up as new.  The clue word “hilly” spells out in alphabetical order.  But, boy!  That answer letter layout makes for one impressive 14-letter jumble, huh?  It definitely didn’t give the answer away.  You really had to pick up on the church/Swiss cheese connection, in order to get today’s answer.
