(I like it!  It’s a nice link to the origins of the phrase.  Things usually start from the ground up, right?

None of today’s clue words are new, but a couple of the jumbles appear to be so.  We’ve seen both “goysg” and “thoseo” some time before.  The answer letter layout was a splendid, cryptic jumble.  Nothing obvious about it, at all.
