“We love what we love, and shared fandoms bring people of all ages and backgrounds into one great tribe.” — Margaret Stohl
(Then I’m probably a member of a relatively small tribe. I don’t seem to like/believe what the majority does. I’m not necessarily a contrarian. I just don’t have a lot of patience for magical thinking. But, welcome to the Cryptoquote Club, Maggie! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

I think I know what you mean, unc.
A lot of my favorite things are either out-of-style or don’t stay in style very long.
What can you do ?
I was referring more to her genre of writing, lwc. She writes those Young Adult fantasy kinda books. I’m not a big fan of C.S. Lewis, or J.K. Rowling, or even J.R.R. Tolkien. I wanted to enjoy “Game of Thrones”, but they had to throw in magic and dragons, and stuff that I just consider nonsense.
But, I can extend it to many other areas of life. Some of them, like yours, are things that seem to be out of style. I’m getting to be a cranky old man, lwc! LOL! — YUR
