(I was at least half way through before I realized this was from Uncle Walt!  I kind of resent what Disney has become, especially 42nd Street in NYC, but “Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color”, and then “The Wonderful World of Disney”, played a big part in my childhood!  Especially in the early ’60s, when the majority of TV was still broadcast in black and white, the NBC peacock, and shows like Disney, and “The Virginian” were colorful marvels!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

(Day two of our guest Jumblers is Dave Whamond, the creator of Reality Check.  This one I’m completely unfamiliar with, but the guy draws a mean robot!  Is he a regular character, or was this just for the Jumble?

All of today’s clue words are old favorites, and three of the jumbles appear to be new as well.  Only “guctah” has definitely been used before.  I had the most trouble unscrambling “taigru”.  I usually have trouble getting “guitar” for some reason.  The 12-letter answer letter layout was a very impressive jumble.  I didn’t find anything obvious about it.  I figured the second part of the answer was going to end in ING, but I was thinking ATING before I realized there was no A.  But, that forced me look at the letters more closely, because I really didn’t have a clue as to what they were looking for!

Very cool cartoon.  Classic looking robot.  I was trying to key on the word “abdominal” in the clue/question, at the same time that the cartoon wrenches were registering in my limited, first generation CPU.  What is that peering in through the OR door, a dog, or a wolf???  Hmm!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
