Clue/Question: The oil driller who didn’t have a single employee – – –
Pre-Answer: Four Words (3-letters) (4-letters) (3-letters) (7-letters)

Answer: DID WELL FOR HIMSELF
(Well, well, well! You don’t say! The old oil well strikes again! Isn’t that peachy keen? We’ve had a very good week of Jumbles, haven’t we?
I hope that ralis95 is checking his email this morning, because we have a new clue word in “muddle”! He can add that to his world famous clue word database. However, that was one of five words that I saw right away. The only one that I stumbled on, had to skip and come back to, was “feret”. Ironically, that is the only jumble that has been used before. The other five came up as new. The answer letter layout was a very impressive 17-letters long. And, it was a masterful jumble, that gave absolutely nothing away. Because of the two F’s, I first thought that the answer was going to be DID WELL OFF . . . something. I was thinking HIMSELF, but the remaining letters I had had an R, and lacked an F. So, that turned me on to FOR, and off of OFF. Which makes much more sense, anyway!
Great cartoon. I think Jeff really enjoys drawing oil wells, because he always does such a good job of it. The open toolbox was a nice touch. A very satisfying Jumble, guys! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
PS. Today is Armistice Day! Better known since around World War II as Veterans’ Day, where we acknowledge the service of all those who served in all our branches of the armed forces, both the dead and the living. But, because we already have Memorial Day, I feel this is more a day for appreciating the living veterans, and current members of our armed force. Regardless of our feelings about the merits of so many of our military involvements, it is imperative that we all remember that our veterans and current military personnel do not make policy. They serve . . . all of us . . . for love of country. And, for that we owe them our highest debt of gratitude. — YUR
