Visual Description: Georgia on my mind?
CAKOL = CLOAK, CREHP = PERCH, DAHNER = HARDEN, TENYIT = ENTITY — Giving us: CAKPEHEENY
Clue/Question: Since deciding to specialize in growing nectarines, everything was – – –
Answer: PEACHY KEEN
(Neato pun! Really swell. Mui bueno, and not too shabby. I always thought that nectarines were some kind of hybrid of a peach and a plum. I didn’t know that they’re essentially peaches sans the fuzz. A kind of genetic mutation. They’re generally smaller than peaches, but they all come from the peach tree. Righteous! I like them both.
Hey, hey, hey! This is a day for our good friend ralis95 to celebrate, as we have a new clue word in “harden”. He can add another word to his world famous clue word database. It’s been a few weeks. Two of the jumbles are new, with “cakol” and “crehp” having been used before. The answer letter layout was an admirable 10-letter jumble. But, I’d have flipped both “cloak” and “perch”, and also “harden” and “entity”, to end up with the answer letter layout PECAKENYHE.
Great orchard cartoon. Bushel baskets, lots of trees, and some peach pickers in the background. A wholesome and healthy scene. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

The folks liked nectarines and peaches, but I never got into them. A couple years ago, I wanted to get into peaches, but couldn’t get the hang of buying good ones. So the experience wasn’t that good so I set that aside for some other time. But I didn’t know the two were related; I was surprised with the answer.
Damid — wish you were close, I could get you some good peaches from the orchard! The trick is to leave them out on the counter until they start to ripen. Then get them into the fridge. At least that is the way we do it! LL
You must be playing catch-up again, LL! 🙂 — YUR
I am Unc….but I’m closer to having the jumbles worked than reading the blog–maybe five days??!!
I always read the blog, no matter how far behind I am. First, I enjoy them, and second, the guys do a great jumble, and you do a great blog, and I like to honor that by visiting and reading your blog site when I get behind. And, there are times I just have to comment, no matter how far behind my reading is….like about the peaches!!
LL 🙂
It’s all good, kid. And, thanks for the kind words! — YUR
