CAKOL = CLOAK, CREHP = PERCH, DAHNER = HARDEN, TENYIT = ENTITY — Giving us: CAKPEHEENY
Clue/Question: Since deciding to specialize in growing nectarines, everything was – – –

Answer: PEACHY KEEN
(Neato pun! Really swell. Mui bueno, and not too shabby. I always thought that nectarines were some kind of hybrid of a peach and a plum. I didn’t know that they’re essentially peaches sans the fuzz. A kind of genetic mutation. They’re generally smaller than peaches, but they all come from the peach tree. Righteous! I like them both.
Hey, hey, hey! This is a day for our good friend ralis95 to celebrate, as we have a new clue word in “harden”. He can add another word to his world famous clue word database. It’s been a few weeks. Two of the jumbles are new, with “cakol” and “crehp” having been used before. The answer letter layout was an admirable 10-letter jumble. But, I’d have flipped both “cloak” and “perch”, and also “harden” and “entity”, to end up with the answer letter layout PECAKENYHE.
Great orchard cartoon. Bushel baskets, lots of trees, and some peach pickers in the background. A wholesome and healthy scene. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
