(I knew the first word was going to be HAS or HAD. At first I thought one of the three letter words might be THE, but I was certain the last word was going to be IT. It worked out to be very a very nice pun!
All of the clue words are old favorites. Five of the jumbles came up as new, with “virred” having been used before. Excellent answer letter layout. It disguised the final solution thoroughly.
The “Edelweiss Estates” sign in Jeff’s cartoon threw me for a little bit. I was trying to think of some line, or lyric, from “The Sound of Music” for a couple of minutes. But, the bigger hints were really in the dialog, with the words “looks” and “vision”. I really didn’t pick up on the “Wonderful Views Available” until much later. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
