Clue/Question: She wanted to tango with her husband but couldn’t get past his – – –

Answer: “AVOID–DANCE“
(That’s my favorite form of dance! I love watching dance, especially the ballet, and modern, and jazz. Even ballroom dancing is a great spectator sport, for me. But, I have two left feet, and I’m far too conscientious and analytical about it. I can’t just feel it. I always overthink the steps. Maybe hypnotism would work for me. Alcohol has had limited success in getting me on the floor. But, it’s never a pretty sight.
Once again, we’re dealing with old favorite clue words. Three of the jumbles came up as new, with “odive” having definitely been used some time ago. Very cryptic answer letter layout. It gave nothing away. The quotation marks and the hyphen were very helpful in getting the final solution. I thought that it made for a splendid pun.
I feel bad for the wife. She’s all dolled up, and ready to dance. But he, like me, is behind on his puzzles. Cyberspace is lovely, dark and deep, But I have spoilers to keep, And posts to go before I sleep, And posts to go before I sleep. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
