(Beauty, guys!  Great one to come home to.  And of course, seasonally appropriate.  I wouldn’t call this one a stinky pun.  Not unless you’re offended by the smell of pumpkin-spice!

I detected no new clue words today.  However, three of the jumbles came up as new, with “casiof” having definitely been used before.  The answer letter layout was a great jumble, but the layout of the final solution, the two F’s in the answer letter layout, and the great cartoon, made getting today’s pun a breeze.

Great late 18th century/early 19th century domestic scene.  Jeff drew H. H. to be a very dapper scoundrel!  I like how he has his feet up on the ottoman, and his boots are by his chair.  I also liked how his jack-o-lantern head is on the table, and his wife is patting it, while she says “That’s nice, dear.”  Great Halloween Jumble!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Halloween Cryptoquote Spoiler – 10/31/18

(Who???  What kind of Negative Nelly would say something like this?  Ahh, I see!  It’s one of the witches from one of my daughters favorite childhood movies, “Hocus Pocus”.  We just watched it a little over a week ago, with a couple of my grand-kids.  Cute.  Winifred was played by the incomparable Ms. Bette Midler.  Sean Murray, aka Tim McGee from “NCIS”, played a teenager who was turned into a cat.  He became a boy again, in the end.  Nice Halloween tie-in, Rebecca.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
