Clue/Question:  When she asked her son if he’d learned any even numbers, he said – – –

Answer:  TEN–FOUR

( . . . good buddy!  This pun wasn’t automatic for me.  At first, I was seeing FOR-TUNE.  But, that didn’t make any sense, with the clue/question and the cartoon’s dialog.

There are no new clue words today, but two of the jumbles appear to be new.  We’ve seen both “lefte” and “tocxie” sometime in the past.  The answer letter layout was a nicely cryptic jumble.

Nice domestic cartoon.  Nothing in it gave the answer away.  No bonus clues.  The kid’s hat looks a little like a trucker’s hat, but not that much.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
