(Wake up and smell the stinky puns, people!  This is the kind of pun that made the Jumble famous.  Groaner?  Sure.  Fun?  Definitely.

All of today’s clue words are old friends, however all of the jumbles came up as new.  For whatever reason, I had to back into “saying”.  I guess the jumble was just that good.  The answer letter layout was a dandy of a jumble too.

Period cartoons are always a favorite of mine.  I guess this must be late in 1902, when ol’ Levi passed.  None of the parties present appear to be wearing blue jeans, but there is a nicely folded pair of them on the lawyer’s desk.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
