“When you rise in the morning, give thanks for the light, for your life, for your strength.” — Tecumseh
(A true American hero! He probably didn’t consider the land he was fighting for “America”, but it was the land of his people. I love how their general philosophies are so pure and uncomplicated. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
Clue/Question: The band’s stage performance was going – – –
Answer: “A–CHORD–ING“ TOPLAN
(Another toughie. David L. Hoyt is really on a roll lately. I got today’s answer a lot faster than the last few days, but this was not a gimme, by any means. Nice pun though.
Hoyt has taken a break from giving us new clue words, today. Our pal, ralis95, can rest easy. Three of the jumbles came up as new, with “nophoc” having been used in the past. The answer letter layout was another superb jumble. I guess the leading nature of the clue/question, and the quotation marks, set me on the right path.
Wonderful cartoon. I recognized Jeff and Kathy right away, but not the band, until I saw the sound person’s tee-shirt. It appears to be the band Poi Dog Pondering. They’re likely a very fine fusion band, but I’m not that familiar with them. I’ll give you guys a YouTube of one of their songs. Be well and do good, friends.) —YUR
