(A very smart pun! How could you NOT like it? It made me smile.
None of today’s clue words are new, but three of the jumbles came up as new. They’ve definitely used “whons” some time in the past. None of the jumbles stumped me. The answer letter layout was a well thought out jumble. None of the answer words jump out at you. However, the answer wasn’t a big head scratcher, for me.
Cute cartoon. Jeff has used animated numbers and such, in the past. I’ve never asked, but who comes up with the cartoon’s dialog, David, or Jeff? Or, is it more of a collaborative thing? It’s only taken me 10 years to ask the question! LOL! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
PS. Yesterday’s Cryptoquote Spoiler drew more queries than the Jumble did. I’m not sure if that means that yesterday’s was harder for some, or that the Cryptoquote is getting more popular. You folks who do the Jumble only might want to check out doing the Cryptoquote. It’s fun. — YUR

I agree, UR. If their newspapers run the Daily Cryp. Some run a similar product called “Celebrity Cipher” instead. Also, today’s Cryp was not easy to crack into. A 3-letter first word is usually THE, ONE or YOU, but not today!
FYI- All the submissions for the 6th annual Guest Jumbler’s week are in! I can’t believe this group got them in on time. It’s going to be a good one! Three of the cartoonists live above North Dakota! How’s that for outsourcing?
Very nice, Jef. Now how about answering today’s question. — YUR
Sorry. The dialog mostly comes from my head. Occasionally David has dialog that he wants in to drive the pun home. If you like it, it’s mine. If not, It’s David.
LOL! I figured it was something like that. Thanks, bro. — YUR
