Answer: NO SMALL “FEET“
(Wow! The best Monday Jumble in memory! Usually, the Monday ones are pretty basic, and not all that challenging. Today’s was more like a Friday Jumble. A slightly more obscure phrase made for a great pun.
We have a new clue word today, in “flail”. I had to skip it, and come back to it, before getting it. I was this close to – – to having to back into it! Our good friend, ralis95, will have to add this to his world famous clue word database. All four of the jumbles came up as new. In my newspaper, all the jumbles were in an extra bold font. Did anyone else’s paper have the same? Not sure if this was intentional, or just a fluke. It did throw me a bit. The answer letter layout was a marvelous jumble. It wasn’t obvious in the least.
Excellent cartoon! A nice variety of clowns. The one clown looks like Puddles, from Puddles Pity Party. If you haven’t seen him before, you should give him a looksee/listen. Ya never know. You might become a fan. I’m sure Jeff knows who he is. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
