Answer: JUST A DASH
(Very clever pun, and a very clever cartoon! I enjoyed today’s Jumble immensely. I’m not sure if “porous” is a new clue word, but I definitely had trouble with “pruoso”. I had to back into the word. The other jumbles I got right away.
The answer letter layout was a great jumble too. Not obvious, at all.
It was a little hard to see, but I could see a #, a %, an @, and a & sign in the background. And, someone sitting with a question mark at another table. Very amusing. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
I usually don’t look at the cartoon before I finish unjumbling the letters. However, with the new format I am using (having to print out the jumbles because I refuse to pay $600 a year for the paper), I do find myself reading the jumble as I’m bringing it to the table. I had the answer to this puzzle before I got around to working the puzzle! Made me laugh!! I’ll probably think of this jumble for a while when I pick up the salt and pepper! LL
