Visual Description: Wilbur, Orville and . . . cousin Clem?
LAWOL = ALLOW, PIRMC = CRIMP, NROPES = PERSON, EGDANA = AGENDA Giving us: ALLIMPPESNAEND
Clue/Question: The Wright Brothers’ approach to aviation was – – –
Answer: “PLANE“ AND SIMPLE
(The ever popular first flight, Wright brothers theme! When it comes to idioms, adages, and old saws, there are some scenes that you can always count on. I highly doubt that any of today’s clue words are new, but I could always be wrong. Two of the jumbles came up as new, with “lawol” and “pirmc” having definitely been used before.
The answer letter layout was a very impressive 14-letters long jumble. The combination of the cartoon’s dialog, the clue/question, and the final answer’s layout, made getting AND SIMPLE easy, for me. The remaining letters, and the quotation marks, gave me the pun aspect.
Fine cartoon. Not sure who the guy in the middle is really supposed to be. Cousin Clem worked for me! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
