(Very good.  Before looking at the answer letter layout, and because of the word drought in the clue/question, I was thinking DRY PATCH.  But, it wasn’t rough to figure out.  I’m guessing all the clue words are old favorites.  Great answer letter layout!  And, I’m sure it was a fine cartoon.
