Clue/Question: The bat was telling an interesting story, and the other bats – – –
Pre-Answer: Four Words (4-letters) (2-letters) (5-letters) (4-letters)

Answer: HUNG ON EVERY WORD
(Now, this one sounds like an original Jumble pun, to me. And, I like it! Wasn’t LL talking about bat snakes the other day? A week or so ago? The one with the heraldic shield, or something.
No new clue words today. So, we don’t need to alert ralis95. All but one of the jumbles appear to be new. They’ve used “tennyi” some time in the past. I don’t think Hoyt has used “render” in ages! The answer letter layout was a splendid jumble. I don’t think it gave a single word away.
Love the cartoon, too. Those are some nice sized bats! They look like they might be fruit bats, and not those little brown bats. It’s worth turning the cartoon upside down, to get a good look at the bats’ expressions. Nice work, guys. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
