(A great way to ease into the week! If you’re a recalcitrant New Yoahka you might have had a hard time coming up with today’s answer. It’s gotta be soder! But, I’m sure that most of you got it pretty easily.
All of today’s clue words are old favorites, however all of the jumbles came up as new. I was able to get them all right away. The answer letter layout was a fine jumble too.
Nice cartoon of the old Pepsi Challenge. When I was a kid, I preferred Pepsi, because it was a little sweeter, and the cola flavor was a little mellower. But, in my more mature years, I switched to the slightly more harsh cola taste of Coca Cola. But, now I rarely, if ever, drink soda – or pop – because it really packs on the pounds. I never could do the Colas, or most carbonated drinks. If I had anything it was usually an Orange Crush – but only in the brown bottles. And every once in a blue moon I just have to have a root beer, and I never ever liked root beer! Where I am it’s RC Cola and a moon pie! LL
