(Hmm.  Shouldn’t it be HAS, instead of HAVE?  OR is not a collective, like AND, so “cloudy day” and “a little sunshine” would be singular, right?  I HAVE, you HAVE and they HAVE, but he, she and it HAS.  Right?  It’s a nice long quote, that took some work to solve.  And, there is truth to it.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Jumble Spoiler – 08/18/18

Answer:  GUNG “HOE“

(An earthy pun!  As all stinky puns are.  Only a seven letter long answer, but maybe not that easy, if you’re not familiar with gardening tools, and this expression.  Gung Ho is a popular expression of enthusiasm, particularly of the United State Marines, but it has kind of changed from its Chinese origins.  I can still see its positive link though.

No new clue words today, yet all of the jumbles are coming up as new.  None of them tripped me up today.  The answer letter layout was smartly cryptic.  Especially, for being only seven letters long.

Nice domestic, suburban cartoon.  The guy appears to be wearing a visor.  He’s got either rosy cheeks, or a little smudge of dirt on them.  And, his trousers legs are covered in dirt.  You can see a little added emphasis to the hoe also.  And, if you look closely, you can see they both seem to be wearing work gloves.  They do help cut down on blisters.  Nice little Jumble.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
