(Not bad.  A nice semi-math pun.  I never knew that 3’s were type-A personalities.  Is he yelling at the 4 on the board/grid, or just in general to whoever is playing the Sudoku game?  I can appreciate math more, now that I’m older, but I still prefer word games.

All of today’s clue words are trusted old friends.  It’s been a long time since we’ve seen “sheen”.  All of the jumbles appear to be new.  I didn’t struggle with any of them though.  The answer letter layout was a nice jumble.  I think the preponderance of E’s made getting the answer pretty easy for me.  But the demeanor of the cartoon numbers was also a factor.

Fun? cartoon.  Jeff must be experimenting with hallucinogenic drugs.  What do you guys think:  LSD, magic mushrooms, peyote?  The dude is definitely trippin’!  Who would think to put “We’re #1” mitts on the number 1?  Maybe Jeff was too influenced by School House Rock as a kid.  Or, maybe he just wanted to see if I’d break out the word anthropomorphic!  Well, I’m not going to to!  Uhh . . . wait.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
