DERITA = TIRADE, LRAFET = FALTER, YSBLOM = SYMBOL, CXDEEE = EXCEED, RHDYIB = HYBRID, CIPNLE = PENCIL — Giving us: TIDFERSLXEEHIPNI
Clue/Question: When it came to growing the best farm crops, this farmer was an – – –
Pre-Answer: Four Words (6-letters) (2-letters) (3-letters) (5-letters)

Answer: EXPERT IN HIS FIELD
(Feels kind of like a re-run to me. Maybe we had OUTSTANDING IN HIS FIELD, in the past? That would be an awful lot of letters though, even if they gave us IN. I dunno. Just a feeling, I guess.
None of today’s clue words are new, but all of their jumbles appear to be so. I had a little trouble with “lrafet”. I guess I’m still looking to put the fault in falter! And, I really liked “cipnle” for pencil. The answer letter layout was a super jumble. But, maybe because of the leading nature of the clue/question, and the presence of the letter X, the answer came to me right away.
Fine farmland cartoon. It looks like one conventional looking farmer, an Amish farmer, and a nerd-ish farmer. Even if they resent the guy in the tie, they can’t argue with the results. Not a huge challenge, but – as always – still a fun Sunday Jumble. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
