Clue/Question: When the pirate with the peg leg was told to walk the plank, he was – – –

Answer: OUT ON A LIMB
(And if you look closely, his peg-leg is literally a limb! This is a super Jumble! Even though none of the clue words are new, they’re ones that haven’t been used in quite a while. Three of the jumbles came up as new, with “vumea” having definitely been used before.
The answer letter layout is a wonderfully cryptic jumble. It did not give anything away.
But, the cartoon is what takes the cake! From the exaggerated Rs in the dialog, to the hastily nailed down plank. You’ve got sharks circling below the plank. You’ve got the captain’s parrot taking wing. Some great ragtag pirates, one with a bloody sabre. And, off on the horizon is a sinking Brigantine! The mutineers look like they stepped right out of a Johnny Depp movie! Lots of fun. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
