RREVO = ROVER, FIWTS = SWIFT, CAPUNK = UNPACK, DDDEAP = PADDED — Giving us: RERSWAKDDE
Clue/Question: When the Jumble artist sketched his work area, it included a – – –
Answer: DESK DRAWER
(That’s a little sneaky, stinky pun. He’s definitely looking at his desk, but it’s not so obvious he’s concentrating on his desk drawer. But the word DESK kind of jumped out at me. From RERWAD I was able to come up with DRAWER, and hence the pun.
We appear to have a new clue word today, in “rover”. Meaning a wanderer, or someone who roves. NOT the clichéd name of a dog! So, it looks like our good friend, ralis95, has a new word to add to his world famous clue word database. This has been a busy quarter for him. We’ve seen the jumble “fiwts” before, but the others seem to be new. The answer letter layout was a mighty fine jumble. Mighty fine.
Great cartoon. Jeff’s got his POI tee-shirt on, and there’s a WILCO poster on the wall. But, the stars of the cartoon have to be the two sleeping pooches. You can never go wrong with sleeping dogs. Good clean fun. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Yes, I agree, ROVER is nu2me2. ROVER and DRAWER gave me a little trouble–not a lot, but enough for me to say: Good puzzle, guys! I zeroed in on DESK quickly despite it being in the adjective, first-word position but still struggled briefly to see DRAWER.
Note that you won’t see DRAWER as a regular Jumble! word, because those letters unscramble to another equally common word, REWARD. So it’s not surprising that DRAWER could cause trouble even for some Jumble! veterans like me.
Unc, I love the photo of the Westie draped asleep on the desk. I grew up with a Westie in my house. Unfortunately Clyde–we also had a Scottie named Bonnie, that being a popular movie at the time–was not a slugadesk (variation on slugabed) dog, but rather a high-energy, play-with-me-constantly, sock-stealing, peeing-in-the-SUGAR-BOWL-on-the-kitchen-table whirling-dervish dog. So when my sister or I see a Westie being walked on the street, we typically wince in sympathy with the owner.
Draw on all!
Unpack took the longest to solve, but didn’t take a step away like some others. For the answer, I figured Draw was involved somehow. So I marked off those letters and saw the ER in the row of answer letters at which time the light bulb went off. 😀
