“Spectacular achievement is always preceded by spectacular preparation.” — Robert H. Schuller
(This was a tough one to get started, considering there were no single letter words, and no words ending in E. Even though I don’t like going to the author too early, I took a peek, but surprisingly did NOT see Robert! Fortunately, I suspected MR was IS, but at first I questioned why the next word would end in S? I figured out that word had to be ALWAYS, and I was off to the races. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Man! Way to go solving this one! I got MR = IS but that was about it.
This one took me a while to get started as well. I also missed Robert, but also missed always. I managed to get it eventually starting with the letter E. However my fiancé read it off to me letter by letter (to write down as I don’t get it in a paper) and he (or I) missed the second P in preparation so that made it fun to say the least! LOL
Do you get it from the ArkansasOnline site? — YUR
Thanks, BFWM! It was definitely a toughie! — YUR
Today’s puzzle made up for it though. I solved that one without writing down any letters! Made me feel okay again. That one Saturday got me good! Haha
Not sure who you’re asking, but yes, I get mine daily (except Sunday, can’t find that one) from the Arkansas Democrat online. If I’ve missed one (except Saturday), I get it from the Times Record (Midcoast Maine) online.
Yup! That was directed to you, Sue! Finding both the Jumble and Cryptoquote, seven days a week, seems to be a matter of being lucky enough to subscribe to a local newspaper that carries them both.
— YUR 🙂
Yep, something I am not lucky enough to have. We have only a weekly and it only carries a crossword puzzle. Hence the online search!
I wonder what people would pay for me to scan and email the Sunday puzzles to them??? — YUR
Hmmmm…might be a thought. I actually thought it would be really cool if you could put the cryptoquote in unsolved and we’d have to click it to get the answer. Does that make sense? Then we could all have the daily, including Sunday, cryptoquote. And you’d get lots of visitors. =)
It would be really cool, except the licensing people would probably have a fit. I have a relationship with the Jumble guys, but not with the Cryptoquote people. I’d love the extra traffic, but it would be a little extra work, and a lot of extra risk. — YUR
Maybe one day. In the meantime, carry on. I’ll keep enjoying it as is. =)
Aye aye, Ma’am! — YUR
Not so fast, folks
I figured out this one based on ALWAYS, but when I checked on the author of said quote, I found that the 2nd to last word should be UNSPECTACULAR, according to all sources I looked at
The uncredited writer(s) for CRYPTOQUOTES got some splainin to do
(sorry for the lack of punctuation: My crappy keyboard wont give me periods or quotation marks)
Wow, mrKIA! It looks like you are correct, and the Cryptoquote folks were wrong! So, I guess old Bob was telling us to: Just Do It!, huh? But, I actually stumbled on another WordPress post that uses the wrong quote too. See below. — YUR

unclerave: Thanx for the affirmation
My only misgiving is that CQs mistake was not entirely incorrect
Schullers quote, given his idea of something ALWAYS UNSPECTACULAR is cause for great results is inane
The Cryptoquote version of the quote definitely makes more sense to me, mrKIA. I’ve always found that most religious leaders aren’t too keen on the kind of inspection, and introspection, that preparedness brings. They tend to push acceptance and obedience, over reason and understanding.
