(There ya go! A pun that has to be written out, in order to be realized/appreciated. Homophonic fun! But, I’m guessing that some of you guys had to work to get this.
I didn’t find it to be obvious. But, the quotation marks should have been a big clue. No new clue words, but five of the jumbles appear to be new. We’ve seen “ignnni” in the past. I thought “ccthie” was the most challenging of them. Super cryptic answer letter layout. A superb jumble, indeed.
Cute classroom cartoon. Do they teach basic arithmetic in Kindergarten, or in Pre-K, these days? In Kindergarten, in 1962, I remember finger painting, learning my ABCs, learning to count, playtime – big blocks with the boys, and “house” with the girls. I played “house” at least as much as I played with the blocks! Then there’d be milk and graham crackers, and nap time. Good times. I even had a pretty teacher. Miss Williams! I wonder whatever happened to her? Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
