(Our first quote from my favorite stoner!  At least he always looks like he’s a little stoned.  He’s a fine actor, and enjoys his life.  It’s made him a target of a *certain popular movement*.  Christ!  Who hasn’t been named as “inappropriate” by now?  If they were to interview a certain D. B., I’m sure that they’d come for yer uncle.  If I were big enough for the media to bother with.  It was more of a “Gone With The Wind” kind of scene actually.  But nowadays, even that movie is considered politically incorrect.  Stop the world!  I want to get off!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

(Back to a good, old fashioned, stinky pun! Pun haters around the world are groaning in anguish.  And, I love it!  I prefer the simpler things in life.  I mean, how many dry-witted English, puzzle/word games are out there, anyway?  None that I would enjoy, I’m sure!

No new clue words today, yet all of the jumbles appear to be new.  I saw the first three immediately.  I considered UNLENT for the fourth, before I narrowed in on TUNNEL.  The answer letter layout did a nice job of concealing the answer.  It was another superlative jumble.

I think Jeff is trying to single-handedly keep this Washington Irving story alive, for the world to appreciate.  It’s his go-to HEAD theme.  Maybe, for a future sleeping, or bowling, pun he could draw up something with Rip Van Winkle!  That would make yer uncle smile!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
