Jumble Spoiler – 05/14/18

Clue/Question:  When they found a bag of peanuts at the Grand Canyon, the squirrels – – –

Answer:  GORGED

(Big time!  The Grand Canyon is probably considered THE granddaddy of gorges.  This makes for a good stinky pun.  All of the clue words are old favorites.  “Rugby” had once been a tough word for me, but I saw it fairly quickly today.  All of the jumbles came up as new.

Our man’s answer letter layout was a very good jumble, for being only six letters long.  I can envision some of you guys having to scratch your heads a little.

Another stellar cartoon from our man #2!  In the distance, you can see the grandeur of the famous canyon, with the Colorado River flowing through it.  And, the tourists, taking their lifetime keepsake photos of the experience.  The squirrels look overly satisfied!  It looks like they found a bag of Major League Baseball peanuts, if I’m reading the logo correctly.  Even though it’s a short answer, it was a fun Jumble.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
