Answer:  CLOGGED

(Just like my bathroom sink!  Yeah.  That’s something else I have to get to.  Is today’s Jumble automatically a “stinky pun”, because it deals with feet and shoes?  Both with and without socks my feet eventually get sweaty.  And sweat leads to bacteria, which invariably leads to stink.  I think, if nothing else, socks act as bit of a buffer, to keep both your feet and your shoes drier, and a little less stinky.  But, the longer you keep your shoes on, the greater the build up of moisture and odor.  Maybe this is another good argument for taking your shoes off when you enter the house.  I think the argument about tracking in germs and bacteria is a little over-hyped, despite what the Facebook videos says!

Hey, there.  We have no new clue words to announce today.  And, only two of the jumbles appear to be new, as we’ve seen both “ggion” and “stagek” before.  The answer letter layout hid the answer nicely, making it another fine jumble.

The cartoon is classic!  All the people in their Dutch clothing.  The clogs being displayed on chunks of tree trunks, the old style glass in the window, and the windmill in the background, outside the door.  If it’s a Dutch door then both the top and bottom appear to be open.  Or, are all doors in Holland Dutch doors???  I like how the salesman is holding a shoe box!  I kinda doubt they had them back then.  Probably didn’t even have cardboard yet.  I can’t imagine wooden shoes being all that comfortable, but I guess they’re better than going barefoot.  Have any of you guys ever worn them before?  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

They were probably not very comfortable to wear, UR, but they were great for causing SABOTAGE!
