Answer: BOWLED OVER
(I love the smell of minestrone in the morning! Smells like . . . victory! A great way to start the work week. Familiar old clue words, and familiar faces. One of the jumbles, “raywe”, was also familiar, with the other three appearing to be new.
The answer letter layout was another carefully thought out jumble. It was cryptic enough to make things interesting. The idiom was fairly evident though, especially with the setup of the clue/question and the visual clues.
The cartoon was a lot of fun. If there wasn’t any dialog I’d say that it looks like the Soup Nazi is saying: No more soup for you, baldy! He was one mean dude, ya know! LOL! Certain television shows were just one of a kind, and “Seinfeld” was definitely one of those. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
