(So, why hasn’t homerun made its way to being a compound word yet? Is there like some kind of dictionary board where someone can submit a word for inclusion to the compound club? Is it a pay to play kind of deal, or what? Hey readers! I know there are still a few of you left. See what you can find on this issue, and get back to me. Will ya?
Guess what, boys and girls? We have a brand new clue word today, in “tirade”! It’s the first new clue word in a few weeks. Our good buddy, ralis95, can add this to his world famous clue word database. Plus, all of today’s jumbles are coming up as new. I particularly liked “dirtea”, and I’m guessing it’s because it hid a new clue word. There was nothing obvious about the answer letter layout. It was a very commendable jumble. It was the setup of the clue/question, the cartoon and its dialog, that made the answer a piece of cake for me.
A bare bones kind of baseball cartoon today. A very generic looking baseball team, with minimal detail. I did like what appears to be a bat rack and the on-deck circle, by the one coach. So far, the boys of summer would settle for some non-winter weather. We are about three weeks behind schedule, with temps and lack of rain. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
