“A man of genius makes no mistakes; his errors are volitional and are the portals of discovery.” — James Joyce
(Our first James Joyce quote, since I’ve been posting these spoilers! Actually, we all uncover portals of discovery when we make mistakes. At least that’s how we should view our mistakes. Be well and do good, friends.) —YUR
Clue/Question: To dream about surfing, the surfer needed – – –
Answer: BRAIN WAVES
(Gnarly, dude! This stinky pun has me stoked! He’s going off in his dreams. Somebody cue The Ventures! Well, there were no new clue words today, but all of the jumbles appear to be new. I must’ve been in the zone, because I saw all the clue words immediately, even though they were good jumbles.
The answer letter layout was . . . swell! It hid the answer very well. But, what do most people think about when it comes to surfing? Of course, WAVES. Then, from IBRAN it doesn’t take a genius to see BRAIN.
Great cartoon, as usual! Is this dude at home, or is he couch surfing? Hmm. We all owe David and Jeff a big Mahalo for this one! Be well and do good, friends.) —YUR
