Reputation is often got without merit and lost without fault.”   —   English Proverb

(This is the first time we’ve had an English Proverb since I’ve been posting these spoilers.  This Cryptoquote took me a good amount of time to get started.  I considered both the Q and the S as the E, until I finally figured out the word OFTEN.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

This “English Proverb” is actually a quote from Shakespeare, according to Brainy Quote. It was not difficult to find this. Curious that the attribution was not correct.

Did you find it at any other quotes site? I suppose it’s *possible* that it was an English Proverb before Shakespeare used it. — YUR
