Jumble Spoiler – 01/13/18

Clue/Question:  After becoming a teacher in Sleepy Hollow, the horseman was – – –

Answer:  HEAD OF THE CLASS

(Very nice.  A bit of irony with the answer.  Made me remember a television show I hadn’t thought about in probably 25 years, or more, “Head of the Class”.  It starred one of my favorite television actors of the ’80s, Howard Hesseman, who had previously been on “WKRP in Cincinnati”, as “Dr.” Johnny Fever!  I was just a young man back then.  Very good times for me.

All familiar clue words today, with two new jumbles.  We’ve seen “liduf” and “starhh” before.  I thought that “cgoek” was a very challenging jumble!  Took me a few seconds before I saw “gecko”.  The answer letter layout was just okay today.  I was able to see CLASS, and of course OF stood right out.  Fun cartoon though.  It looks like Jeff put Kobe into the Jumble.  Intentional?  Hmm!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
