“Impartiality is a pompous name for indifference, which is an elegant name for ignorance.” — G.K. Chesterton
(You win some, and you lose some, G.K.. I’m sure I’ve agreed with a few of your quotes, but definitely not this one. Other than them all starting with the letter I, there is very little in common with the three words. Fairness does not equal lack of concern, or sympathy. Nor do either of them equal lack of knowledge. Perhaps this quote has been taken out of context, and is part of a larger quote, but as a stand alone statement it is just plain stupid, in my opinion. It did make for a fairly challenging Cryptoquote though! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

It must be out of context, UR. Common experience proves that the IGNORANT tend to be the most PARTISAN. Because he’s such a frequent “contributor” to the Cryp, I recognized G.K.’s name right away, but still, those (8 different) letters did not help much with the first word. It took longer than it should have.
