Jumble Spoiler – 01/02/18

(Ya know, they could’ve easily made this a double pun if they’d replaced that Pilsner glass with one of a “well drink”.  But, I’m more of a beer guy myself anyway.  On rare occasions I’ll do a shot . . . or two, but I’m not a big fan of the hard stuff.  My system processes beer like it’s liquid bread, which in some/many ways it is.

No new clue words, for the New Year yet!  However, three of the jumbles did come up as new.  We’ve seen “niwowd” before.  The answer letter layout was a cryptic jumble in itself.  Nothing obvious about it.  The most amusing thing about the cartoon was the “Hello Kitty” tattoo on the young tough guy.  Some might say that that might make him tougher.  But, beating up on an old guy?  Not a lot of sport in that.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
