Answer:  LOCAL CHAPTERS

(Wow!  A nice, long, 13-letter answer.  And, a great pun to boot!  We even have a new clue word today, in “vastly”.  Our good friend, ralis95, will have to update his world famous clue word database once again.  And, all of today’s jumbles came up as new.  The answer letter layout was very impressive.  Nothing stood out as obvious.  Something about the clue/question, and the cartoon’s dialog, both mentioning *national* made me immediately think of LOCAL.  From PACESTHR it didn’t take any time for me to come up with CHAPTERS.  Nice cartoon.  The title of the book is:  A Jumbled Life!  And, in these types of cartoons, you can usually expect the obligatory I ❤ Jumble mug!  As a special someone is wont to say:  A grand jumbler!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Well I got all the clue words easily but would not have solved the jumble for anything. My brain was not hard wired to think 🤔 that way today. But a good jumble it was indeed. Hope you had a decent and loving Christmas Unc. Thinking about you and wishing you all the best. Fondly, Barb.

I wish I’d have spotted the NATIONAL/LOCAL connection sooner. The secret words nearly had me THROWN! However, I always appreciate the 12+ letter solutions, and VASTLY enjoy finding new scrambled words. Happy New Year to you, UR, and to all.

Thank you, Smitty! (I don’t know why I didn’t see the Spell-check flag.) The edit has been processed.
