Clue/Question: When the baby’s first words were “Da-Da . . . Da-Da”, the father exclaimed – – –
Pre-Answer: Three Words (3-letters) (3-letters)'(2-letters) (6-letters)’
Answer: NOW YOU‘RE TALKIN‘
(Had me stumped, for a minute or two! Figured the middle word HAD to be YOU’RE, based on the available letters. Couldn’t do a thing with ONANLWIKT . . . until I realized that the last word ALSO had an apostrophe! Then it all fell into place. I think all the Star Wars references were a bit of misdirection, on the part of the guys! Lots of fun though. Great answer letter layout. No new clue words. Only one returning jumble, in “tonkyt”. Two of the clue words, “accent” and “knotty” spell out in alphabetical order. Nice cartoon of a nice young family. Aah, yes. I remember those days, very well! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
Clever!!!!! Took a bit! LL
UR, I followed the same trains of thought that you did- I didn’t see the 2nd apostrophe, and so, discarded an -ing ending. …also was misdirected by the Star Wars reference- I thought I was up a creek, since I am one of the few humans who hasn’t followed everything Star Wars. Like you, my first chip in solving was deciding ‘you’re’ was the 2nd word. I just stared at the remaining letters, cursing myself for not being knowledgeable in Star Wars info! Accent is on my toughie word list as well! Felt accomplished when I finally completed it all! Hope you’re having a sane week (is it just moms that are in a whirlwind the week before Christmas?? My kiddos are in their 20’s and it’s still cray-cray!)…and blessings to you and yours, and to all the Jumble peeps, hugs to you all!
I think – to an extent, at least – we all go through the holiday mania, jenn. Maybe moms a little more so! A lot of us dads are like: ‘Just let me watch the game. Wake me when it’s time to eat. and . . . Wake me when it’s time to go.’
Thanks, for the warm wishes, jenn. And, back at ya!
