(I can’t imagine that there are all that many moonshiners these days. Not sure how many “dry counties” there are anymore. You’re probably more likely to see folks cooking meth, than running stills these days. Which is probably more dangerous, in many ways, in the long run. There are some small-ish companies that legally make moonshine though. I’m not a big fan of the harder liquors – more a beer and wine guy – so I’ve never had any “white lightning”. But, as always, to each their own!
None of today’s clue words came up as new, yet all of the jumbles did. None of them tripped me up any. The answer letter was also a very good jumble, but I’d be surprised if anybody had much trouble coming up with the final answer. The cartoon was pretty amusing.
