Clue/Question: The humans found the aliens to be very sensible and – – –
Answer: DOWN–TO–EARTH
(Yeah, baby! I’m down with this pun. Are you down with that? All of today’s clue words are, once more, familiar old friends. And though two are new, we’ve seen both of the jumbles “cartk” and “cathh” before. The answer letter layout was out-of-this-world! Very nicely jumbled, indeed. Very cute cartoon, with three flying saucers: one on the ground, one in the hand, and one in the tentacle. It’s kinda hard warming up to tentacles. Don’t you think? Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
Heyyyyy maannnnn! Super dude puzzler. Didn’t have a whole lot of trouble with the jumbled words. But, I did have to work on NARROW AND MODULE. When I see the smaller words in the jumbled letters, I usually go down the rabbit hole for a bit. For instance, WARN and WORN in NARROW. I try to build on those little found word.
Also, another cartoon in the 11/10 paper gave a shout out to the JUMBLE!! How cool is that!! LindaLee
Really, LL! Which cartoon was that??? — YUR
The cartoon was: BALDO. I wasn’t sure if it was appropriate to put in a cartoon name. The dad is all upset, fussing, and tearing the newspaper apart. In the last frame Baldo’s Aunt is telling Baldo “The paper keeps moving his Jumble puzzle.” !!!! LindaLee
I can sympathize, LL! I hate when newspapers mess with my puzzles! LOL! — YUR
