Visual Description: Mountain goat ruffians???
RSIKE = SKIER, LEOLH = HELLO, GLINVI = LIVING, BAGOLL = GLOBAL — Giving us: SIEHLLIILBL
Clue/Question: The goats that grazed on the slope were – – –
Answer: “HILL–BILLIES“
(The one at the top seems to be a “HILL-BULLY”! Maybe he’s just the gruff one. I’m sure they’re all nicer than the troll. Geez, I haven’t thought of this story in ages!
There were no new clue words today, however all of the jumbles came up as new. I nearly had to back into “skier”. I thought that “rsike” was an excellent jumble. I had much less trouble with the other three. The answer letter layout was a swell jumble too, but all those “L”s and “I”s made getting the answer pretty simple for me. Cute cartoon. I’d like to see the full size proof, to get a better look at that troll. Maybe Jeff should set up a website to better showcase his work. I know I’d visit it. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
The full-sized doesn’t give much detail of the troll either. I even looked at it through a loupe, and all it did was make it look a little like a cotton ball.
I was guessing it would be hill-bullies from the cartoon. They may have been better/funnier
I mean the artist’s proof, Damid. Jeff has sent me a few of them in the past. They’re 8 x 10 inch, and show a whole lot more than even the full-sized ones in the newspapers. It would be great if Jeff could put them up online somewhere! — YUR
Och! I guess I’d better improve my reading comprehension! I automatically thought you were talking about a full-sized puzzle. 🙂
No problem, Damid! — YUR
