Visual Description: What I went through on Tuesday!
FARWE = WAFER, KUYYC = YUCKY, CNERTH = TRENCH, RUWORB = BURROW — Giving us: AEYTHBR
Clue/Question: He attached the wires for the EKG quickly. He knew their positions – – –
Answer: BY HEART
(I say “went through”, sarcastically, because EKGs are virtually painless, except for the removal of the sticky electrodes. It’s nothing like The 40-Year-Old Virgin or anything, but they do yank out some chest hairs! All of today’s clue words are old favorites. Although, I’m a little puzzled as to how baby-talk, such as “yucky”, is a legitimate word. And, I have to wonder. Does a burro ever “burrow”??? Hmm. Three of the jumbles are coming up as new, with only “kuyyc” having definitely been used before. The answer letter layout was also a splendid jumble. The cartoon came off as just a little creepy, for me. I don’t think it was intentional, but the patient kind of looks like a double amputee. I was fortunate enough to have a very attractive lady take my EKG. I’ve known her for years though. But, boy! Was she ever fast! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
During the EKG the cold hands get me and when they forget to take off one of the sticky things.
Well, when you google “Does a Burro burrow,” you get lots of definitions. I just had to look it up!
