“Life and death appeared to me ideal bounds, which I should first break through, and pour a torrent of light into our dark world.” — Mary Shelley
(Clearly, this is a line from Frankenstein. Was this Bud Abbott’s line, or Lou Costello’s? Maybe it was the Wolfman’s, or Dracula’s. Okay, so I’m just kidding. But, so many of my cultural references do come from movies and television. I’m not proud of it, but I’m not going to try to pull the wool over your eyes either. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
I kept trying to make this “Life and death appeared to BE…” which made the quote from Bary Shelley. At that point, I knew where I had gone wrong.
LOL! Despite the “A” and the “I”, this was not the easiest quote to decipher. Only two words ended in “E” too. Four words ended in “D”, sorta five if you count BOUNDS. TORRENT, THROUGH, and IGHT were my breakthrough words. I didn’t realize it was LIGHT until I figured out the author. Very nice Cryptoquote, huh muse? — YUR
