Clue/Question: As more telescopes were purchased, the telescope maker’s business was – – –
Answer: LOOKING UP
(Oh, those crazy kids . . . and their fads! Galileo did not invent the first telescope, but he was the first to use Lippershey’s invention, with some modifications, for astronomical purposes. There were no new clue words today, but all of the jumbles came up as new. The answer letter layout was a superb jumble. But, the leading nature of the clue/question, and the cartoon characters, brought the answer quickly into focus. Great period cartoon. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
