Clue/Question: The confusion between the electricians was a result of them getting their – – –

Answer: WIRES CROSSED
(I’m sure that’s probably one of the standard, go to lines for electricians! Makes for a good pun. There are no new clue words today. However, all of the jumbles did come up as new. I’m thinking that “object” may have been the toughest one to solve. When I see the letter J, I always want to think of a word that starts with J. You don’t see the letter J in the middle of a whole lot of words, but so many of them seem to be ending in JECT. Abject, deject, eject, inject, object, project, reject, subject. And, those are only the shorter JECT words. There are longer ones. Now that I’m thinking about it, there are also plenty of other words that have Js in them. I will not continue to bore you with another list of them. The answer letter layout was a nicely cryptic jumble. Nothing given away. Workmanlike effort with the cartoon. LOL. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
