(Sure, it’s kind of cute.  But, I was thinking:  What the heck?  This doesn’t really look historical in anyway.  And:  What’s with the guy’s name?  Finally, I noticed that the locomotive, out the window, in the upper left of the cartoon, had a face on it!  That made me wonder:  Thomas the Tank Engine???  So, I Googled characters of the show, and Sir Topham Hatt showed up!  So, now it makes sense.  And no, the boys weren’t stoned when they put this together!

There were no new clue words today, but three of the jumbles came up as new.  Hoyt has definitely used “yakka” before.  I don’t remember seeing “groggy” before, but then again, that often describes my state of being.  The answer letter layout was another fine jumble.  But, the clue/question alone was leading enough to figure out the answer.  Even without the fine cartoon.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

PS.   Heartfelt condolences, and warm loving thoughts and prayers, to all the victims – and their families – of last night’s tragic shooting in Las Vegas.  The world seems be growing scarier by the moment.  And, all we can do is remember that life is short and unpredictable, and just try to love one another.  Peace.   —   YUR
