(And, the Military Industrial Complex’s conditioning marches on!  Yes, the post 9/11 emergency proclamation has been renewed once again!  Nothing temporary about it, like it was supposed to be.  I was both surprised and upset to read that 30 of our National Emergency Acts are still in effect, for a period that spans 40 years.  And, Congress has never reviewed a single one.  They are keeping us on a never ending war footing.  No wonder it’s now referred to as the Military Industrial Congressional Complex.  They are a big part of the problem.  But, sleep on America!  Keep bingeing on Netflix and Hulu, and of course YouTube videos.  “Reading” our hand-held devices is the 21st Century’s version of burying our heads in the sand.

I wonder why we are getting another LEASE Jumble, in just about a week?  That’s a little strange.  Oh, well.  No new clue words today, but again all the jumbles are coming up as new.  “Adopt” spells out in alphabetical order.  Excellent answer letter layout!  One of the best in long time.  Swell cartoon.  Maybe this one was originally intended for “Patriot Day”.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
