(It would probably be just as corny, to mention how corny this pun is, so I won’t. Especially not after that Vis/Desc. I’ve only had corn on the cob once this season, so I better hurry up and have some more before it’s all gone! This was a fun little solve. None of the clue words were new, but three of the jumbles appear to be so. We’ve definitely had “rommey” in the past. The answer letter layout was a great jumble, but the leading nature of the clue/question made this one pretty much a no-brainer! Usual top-notch cartoon. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Actually, they did! But, I didn’t have any. Burger, white hot, baked beans, and a bunch of beers! Me and a nephew beat the Cali cousin-in-laws in a friendly little pool tournament. The one guy was pretty good, and talking some good natured trash. I started out slow, as I haven’t played in God knows how long, but I came through big in the clutch! Thanks for asking, hal!
